The Hamburg based experts for SAP security and compliance, managed to edge out a number of well-known competitors in the bidding process.
With the DRÄXLMAIER Group, which employs around 70,000 people in more than 20 countries, another renowned automotive supplier entrusts the security of its SAP systems to AKQUINET. In a collaborative arrangement scheduled to last until 2024, the role and authorization concept will be put to the test with the help of a managed service solution and the SAST SUITE. The DRÄXLMAIER Group is one of around 50 companies worldwide that are migrating their production systems to SAP S/4HANA.
"In the proof-of-concept phase, it was mainly the responsiveness and extensive expertise of the SAST team that won us over", explains Stephan Eberl, who works on the group's SAP S/4HANA team. "All the experience they have in planning and executing authorization projects has been particularly useful in the implementation of our own endeavor."
The SAP security experts from Hamburg support Dräxlmaier in hardening the HANA database, redesigning a clean authorization concept and safe-go live management.
The SAST SUITE software they are using in the process is not only considered one of the most complete GRC tools on the market, it is also officially certified for S/4HANA by SAP itself.
"We are looking forward to supporting the DRÄXLMAIER Group worldwide in this new rollout. This cooperation will enable us to further expand our existing expertise in the automotive sector", reports Bodo Kahl, Executive Managing Director of SAST SOLUTIONS. "We're also raising our profile with regard to secure transitions to SAP S/4HANA, which is a topic that's gaining momentum on the market at the moment."
